"China Impression and Story" 2016 CNTOS Micro Film Competition

【Introduction】

"China Impression and Story" 2016 CNTOS Micro Film Competition is organized by China National Tourist Office in Singapore, aiming to offer Southeast Asian a platform to self-display and share wonderful memories. The theme of this Micro Film Competition is “China Impression and Story ”. We strongly encourage people living in Southeast Asia or Southeast Asian living in Mainland China to shoot a micro film based on your Chinese impression and story, then share with people all over Southeast Asia.

【Theme】

The Great Wall of north China, the gentle river of Jiangnan region, the wonderful sky of Yunnan……these are your Chinese impression?

The Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing, the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai, Alibaba in Hangzhou, Tencent in Shenzhen, or these modern elements are your Chinese impression?

Whether you have been to China, there must be a memory or impression wandering in your mind, let us shoot it out together.

The memory of your travel, study and work experience in Mainland China, such as the history and culture, the scenic spots and new technology of China, or the story based on your Chinese impression, as long as related with Chinese or Chinese Culture in a broad sense.

【Eligibility】

1. Over13 years old.

2. Live in Singapore, for all nationalities and races or Southeast Asian living in Mainland China.

3. One team should include at least one Local teammate.

【Process of application】

2. Send your completed application form to official email: microfilm2016@jeffery.asia.

【Notes】

1. No charge for application.

2. The theme and theme description of your microfilm in the application form must be completed. It’s allowed to change the theme of your microfilm, but you have to inform us.

3. Please submit your application form as soon as possible, then we can invite your team to attend our workshops and sharing sessions.

4. Submit your microfilm online before 23:59 on September 10th, 2016.

【Rules & Regulations】

【Film Formats】

1. Acceptable film formats are .mp4 / .mov / .avi / .wmv.

2. File dimension must be 16:9; widescreen format - 1280x 720.

3. All entries should be between one (1) to ten (10) minutes.

【Equipment】

No restriction, you may use your mobile phones, tablets, camera, video camera etc.

【Requirements】

1. As the theme of “China Impression and Story”, must contain Chinese elements.

2. No any politically sensitive topic, and should be positive and healthy.

3. Any type of film that can be feature films, documentaries, cartoons, feature films and so on.

4. Your microfilm must be original and not published in any media.

5. If your microfilm contains any non-original content, including picture, fragment, songs or music, you have to mark out the source of these contents at the end the clip.

6. All entries must insert "2016 CNTO Microfilm" logo at the end of clip. [Click here to download]

7. Microfilm produced in English must be subtitled in Chinese, and microfilm produced in Mandarin must be subtitled in English.
