The CITM 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the Mart) is featured by a diverse variety of exhibits and display techniques. The Mart’s venue has an area of about 70,000 square meters (about 2,500 standard booths). Overseas exhibitors from more than 70 countries and regions are expected to participate on-site and virtually. Over 200 cultural and tourism institutions and businesses from 31 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) of China will participate in the Mart.
The Mart will set up a cultural tourism destination image display section, a healthy lifestyle destination section, a sports tourism section, a culture and tourism consumption section, a cultural tourism image display section for Chinese provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), a section for Chinese cultural tourism enterprises, a cultural expo section, a smart tourism section, a section for new business types of tourism, and an overseas tourism section, etc.
As an innovative exhibition held in a combination of on-site and virtual interactions, the CITM 2022 evolves on the basis of maintaining the classic scenes of previous on-site travel marts and adopts a model of “virtual exhibition + live streaming for events + online business negotiation” to highlight new products of cultural tourism in an all-round way, making the Mart accessible for visitors and the public.
